New flower border

We are creating a new pollinator-attracting Cottage Garden/Woodland border by mixing perennials with evergreen ferns and shrubs.

We have chosen a climbing white rose with 'Iceberg' to grow up the fence then we have planted Viburnum Tinus and Viburnum Brandy Wine along the back for shape and structure with a crimson coloured Budleja for height to the side and some yellow Lupins for contrast.

Then we have planted drifts of Delphiniums and Digitalis in white and pink/purple, pink Achillea millefolium, purple Echinacea and lovely green Alchemilla mollis for the front.

Whilst it doesn't look like much at the moment we are looking forward to it developing - fingers crossed.
