Garden bench

We have made a garden bench from a sleeper to add a new dimension to the garden and a well needed area to store unused plant containers beneath.  To make it we have cut two lengths measuring 30 cm off the end of the sleeper and used these as legs. They have been attached to the remaining length of wood using exterior coach screws.

This is a very quick and easy project that would retail for around £60.

We have used:
A sleeper
4 coach screws
Garden paint
A handsaw
30 minutes of our time
